I tried almost everything : viscose, ramie, mohair, alpaca, fleece, tibetan lam, real human hair. The only thing that goes well for our scale is viscose, or ramie, all other are too thick.

yes I use the hair straightener for viscose, I just go softly like a feather touch ! And I also use the mini iron for viscose, when I wanted the bobcut hairstyle really hold. And it worked, but very gently as it tends to burn the viscose down ! I know a miniaturist who made the small ironing board for sleeves (so very tiny!!!) but really great to work with

I also use the Clover . I bought the green one (the first generation) and now the red one with differents bits . I use them all the time. I also have a very tiny hairstraightener (very tiny, I think it may be for men beards), it is very handy and very useful to straighten the silk ribbon, the trim, the hair. I love it ! For ironing board I have a large quilted fabric put on a coark board

Before your video I used only tacky glue. Now that I saw your video I use hot glue gun with porcelain dolls and it is more stirdy! On polymer clay dolls I still use tacky glue.
