Hi there! The above title is referring to my website and my blog. This isn't a first blog post for Lilli's Littles, but a continuation of my blog that is now moved to my website. So you can get all information about Lilli's Littles in one place! If you'd like to read my past blog posts, go here.
I'm glad you've stopped by! I hope you'll enjoy reading about all the fun and exciting "behind the scenes" of Lilli's Littles. Check in here to find out what's new and upcoming, like newly listed dolls, patterns, new products. I also hope to give you a glimpse into my workshop so you can see what a lovely little world I live in and how real (and sometimes messy) it can be!
When I started Lilli's Littles, I didn't realize I'd be getting a full education in small business too. I've learned so much about how to run a hand craft business and still have more to learn. It's exciting! Sometimes a bit stressful, but challenging and fulfilling. I live a blessed life and running this business is like frosting on the cake.
Okay, I'll stop with the syrup sweetness! Onto the matters at hand!
So I've been working on patterns for miniature dolls. I tried the kits and created one ("Prairie Girl") but at this time it wasn't cost effective. I had heard about digital patterns and that one would be able to download the pattern immediately after buying it online. Holy cow! Not only was this instant gratification of which many of us love, but cost effective for me and my customer!
I thought I'd give it a try. I currently have two patterns that are almost ready to launch into my Etsy shop. One is the previous kit pattern of which I've renamed "Laura". The second is a pattern called "Max". Both of these are fairly simple, but "Max" is higher on the skill level. A general knowledge of apparel sewing is very helpful. I have a ton of pictures to help the creator along the way as well as videos I'm developing to access here on the website. So keep your eye out for these new patterns to appear!
