The Story Began in 2001
Hello! Welcome to the Lilli's Littles blog and to my first post! The above image is just an imagined illustration of myself and my daughter, working together to create her first dollhouse, but this is really how it all began! In 2001, I started to work on a dollhouse for my then 9 year old little girl. I already had a love for miniatures, since I was a little girl and I had hoped to get my little one interested as well. As I recall, this was a dollhouse kit from Real Good

First Steps
Hello everyone! When I'm creating a new figure for future dressed dolls or classes and kits, I start with sculpting a protoype in clay, of which I then turn into a plaster mold. Here I am just setting out my work to begin the sculpting process. Keep watching for more updates! Let me know what you think and if you have any questions.

A Dollmaking Experience?
Hello everyone and welcome to the Updates page of "Isabel" A Dollmaking Experience. I was beginning the process of creating a new class for the fall of 2026, and I thought, how can I make it more than just a class, but a glimpse into my process of making a porcelain figure and involve participants? Hence, the idea of an "experience" was born! The type of doll began with an idea from a student (you know who you are :)) . I haven't explored this time period very much, though
